Promised Land State Park is a 3,000-acre Pennsylvania state park in Pike County, nestled in the Pocono Mountains at 1,800 feet elevation. The park was one of the first state parks in Pennsylvania, opening in 1905. Surrounded by 12,464 acres of Delaware State Forest, the park offers approximately 50 miles of hiking trails marked with blue blazes. Two pristine lakes provide excellent fishing, boating, and swimming opportunities. The park's elevation creates a cooler climate and unique northern hardwood forest ecosystem, making it a refreshing summer destination.

Promised Land State Park is located in Pike County, 10 miles north of Canadensis along PA Route 390. From I-84, take Exit 26 (PA Route 390) and travel south approximately 8 miles to the park entrance. From the Pennsylvania Turnpike Northeast Extension (I-476), take Exit 95 (Pocono/Lake Harmony) and follow PA Route 940 east to PA Route 390 north. The park entrance is well-marked on Route 390.
