Texas State Parks Near Sanderson

Barton Warnock Visitor Center introduces visitors to the dramatic landscapes of Big Bend Ranch State Park and the surrounding Chihuahuan Desert. It features interpretive exhibits, park information, and convenient access to scenic drives and outdoor recreation in one of Texas' most remote regions.

Seminole Canyon State Park & Historic Site features rugged limestone canyons, desert wildlife, and some of the most significant prehistoric rock art in Texas. The park is best known for guided tours to Fate Bell Shelter and other archaeological sites, plus sweeping views of the Rio Grande corridor.
