Salt Springs State Park
"Binghamton, a major city in nearby New York, offers residents a quick escape to Salt Springs State Park for hiking, waterfalls, and scenic beauty just across the state line."
Salt Springs State Park, located in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, encompasses over 400 acres of preserved land. The park is home to some of the oldest hemlock trees in the state, dramatic gorge landscapes, and the historic Wheaton House. Visitors can enjoy miles of hiking trails, explore the salt springs that gave the park its name, and relax in peaceful picnic areas. The park is managed in partnership with the Friends of Salt Springs Park, a non-profit organization.
