Presque Isle State Park is a 3,200-acre sandy peninsula jutting into Lake Erie, making it one of Pennsylvania's most unique parks. The park features 11 miles of beaches, multi-purpose trails perfect for hiking and biking, and diverse habitats supporting over 320 bird species. Visitors can enjoy swimming at pristine beaches, exploring Presque Isle Bay by kayak, or watching spectacular sunsets over Lake Erie. The park is also home to the historic Presque Isle Lighthouse and offers year-round recreation including winter sports.

Hiking Trails
Multi-Purpose Trail (Karl Boyes)

Directions
Presque Isle State Park and the Tom Ridge Environmental Center can be reached by PA Route 832 north from downtown Erie. The park can also be reached by boat. The road system within the park forms a loop approximately 13 miles in length. From I-90, take Exit 18 and follow PA Route 832 north for approximately 4 miles to the park entrance.
