Located in the verdant Yampa Valley south of Steamboat Springs, Stagecoach State Park offers visitors many opportunities to enjoy Colorado's outdoors.
Swimming, boating and fishing for trophy rainbow trout and northern pike are popular activities at the 780-acre reservoir. A marina within the park rents boats.
Hikers can cruise the five-mile Elk Run Trail or view wetland species on the wetland trail.
Abundant wildlife in the park include elk, deer, red fox and pelicans.There are seasonal guided nature programs as well.
